The BSc in Applied information Technology (AIT) at GUtech has core courses required for Information Technology and Computer Science graduates.

The programme has been specifically design for the region and provides students with a solid understanding of the business context in which this technology is developed and applied. The major strength of the GUtech AIT programme compared to general IT programmes is that it is an application oriented programme, which integrates theoretical and practical aspects of computing.

The availability of a wide range of computing and business electives enables students to pursue studies in different areas of Information Technology and in business. By the end of the programme, graduates are qualified for various professions in the public and private sector and can also continue thier studies at GUtech's partner-university RWTH Aachen University.
